Feudal Japanese Society: Burakumin

Описание к видео Feudal Japanese Society: Burakumin

The Burakumin were at the bottom of the Japanese social hierarchy. The Burakumin were like the Untouchables in India. They had no or little rights and were given all the "unclean" jobs that those of the higher classes refused to do. Almost anyone had power over them, and the list of things that they could or couldn't do would make a very long list.
