S V Rangarao, fondly called as SVR, was a greatest legendary figure of the Indian silver screen. He born on 3 July 1918 in Nuzividu of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. SVR began his career as an actor in 1946. Varudhini was his debut film. He perused his acting career rigorously. Though the first film was a flop, SVR could rule the cinema industry for more than three-decades by playing roles of different shades around 200 films across five languages. SVR Centenary Celebrations are being held on July 3, 2018. On the eve of the celebrations New Waves Media pays tributes to the legendary personality.
