A glorious spring day needs to be celebrated with a walk in a beautiful place which I am lucky enough to have only 15 minutes drive away. Bowden Hill, Lacock, was my choice, my mission was to look at the wild garlic, Allium ursinum (https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/tree... which is in abundance woodland areas and not hard to find in my bit North Wiltshire. As always once you start looking there is so much more to see that you anticipate as you start your journey which took me to the bottom of the hill and Lacock Abbey.

The video stops there but I did climb back up the hill to retrieve my car, well worth the effort!

Bowden Hill sits on the side of a hill and rises up from the River Avon, at an elevation of 50m, to its peak at 172m above sea level.
