What is Azoospermia?
Azoospermia means no sperm count or zero sperm count. But before knowing about azoospermia, let us see how sperms are produced inside the male body?

If we look at the structure of the human body, every male has two testicles in which a large number of sperms are produced. This sperm production begins during puberty and in many men this process continues throughout life. Sperm formed in the testis is transported by a channel called vas deferens. Due to vas deferens, all sperm reside in seminal vesicles. And whenever sperms are released from the seminal vesicles at the time of intercourse, they are released from the penis.

Now if we try to understand that whenever someone has zero sperm count, then semen analysis is done for this. In this, seminal vesicles, testis and vas deferens are examined.

Types of Azoorspermia
Obstructive Azoospermia
Sometimes, due to blockage in the vas deferens, sperm are unable to reach the penis. This type of azoospermia is called obstructive azoospermia. In this, despite sperm being produced in the testis, the sperm cannot come out due to obstruction.

Non-Obstructive Azoospermia
In non-obstructive azoospermia, this is a very common type of azoospermia and is found in 85% of people. In this, the amount of sperm production in the testis is very less and due to this they cannot come out because its quantity is very less.

Healthy testis produce more than 2 crore sperm in 1 testis in 1 day.

Azoospermia क्या होता है ?
Azoospermia का मतलब है no sperm count या zero sperm count . पर azoospermia के बारेमें जानने से पहले देखते है की पुरुषो के शरीर के अंदर स्पर्म पैदा कैसे होते है ?

अगर हम मानवी शरीर की रचना देखे हर male को दो testis होते है जिसमे भारी संख्या में sperm पैदा होते है। यह sperm production puberty के दौरान शुरू होता है और काफी पुरुषोंमें यह प्रक्रिया आजीवन रहती है। Testis में बने हुए स्पर्म एक चैनल द्वारा ट्रांसपोर्ट किया जाता है उन चैनल को vas deference कहा जाता है। Vas deference से सारे sperm seminal vesicles में रहते है। और seminal vesicles मेसे intercourse करने के वक्त पे जब कभीभी sperms निकलते है तब वह penis मेसे release हो जाते है।

अब अगर हम यह समझने की कोशिश करे की जब कभी भी किसीको zero sperm count है तो इसकेलिए semen analysis यह जांच की जाती है। इसमें seminal vesicles , testis और vas deference की जांच होती है।

Types of Azoorspermia
Obstructive Azoospermia
कभी कभी vas deference में blockage होने के कारन sperm penis तक पोहोच ही नहीं पाते। इस तरीके के azoospermia को obstructive azoospermia कहा जाता है। इसमें testis में sperm बनने बावजूद obstruction होने के कारन स्पर्म बहार नहीं आ सकते।

Non-Obstructive Azoospermia
Non obstructive azoospermia में यह काफी common तरीके का azoospermia है और 85% लोगो में पाया जाता है। इसमें testis में sperm production की मात्रा बोहोत कम होती है और इसके कारण वो बहार निकल नहीं सकते क्योकि इसकी मात्रा बोहोत कम होती है।
