Here’s a cover of “Riding A Bicycle” for Sungha’s 7 million subscriber contest!

I give credit to Sungha Jung for my learning of fingerstyle guitar. I remember sitting on my couch, about 11 years old, I pulled up a tab to “Dust in the Wind” arranged by Sungha on my iPad and tried to play it.

I couldn’t play it that well, but I knew after that moment that fingerstyle guitar had so much more potential for joy and depth compared to the strumming and individual note playing I was doing before.

Years later, I have learned so many of his covers and they have taught me so much about arranging, song structure, timing, tone, touch, and even just life, and how sticking with something pays off.
