The portrait is one the most demanding but rewarding challenges that artists face. In our upcoming workshop, principal instructor Fernando Freitas will guide students to apply their skills to drawing a portrait from a live model.

Students will learn to block out basic proportions and structure, build stronger forms and volumes, observe and draw convincing features, understand planal changes of the face, and achieve a compelling likeness. This workshop is suitable for all levels.
