SSF(Secretariat Security Force)-SSC GD-Job Profile,Salary,Promotion,Uniform,Office etc -पूरी जानकारी

The SSF is Secretariat Security Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The security of Central Secretariat buildings that are located in the capital city, Delhi, is looked after by SSF.
It’s a full-time Delhi-based uniform service.

In the past few years, the security cover of most of the secretariat buildings has been taken over by CISF & CRPF and now very few buildings like Information Broadcast etc are left with SSF for security.

The vacancies for the post of Constable are filled through SSC GD exam and they are trained by the Delhi Police after the selection.

For the post of Sub-Inspector and above, The vacancies are filled from the CAPFs on deputation basis, no direct entry.

The SSF is not the part of Central Armed Police Forces(CAPFs).
CAPFs are CISF, BSF, ITBP, SSB & CRPF.

The total cadre strength of SSF is 1251 as per MHA.
