"Prayer is Just Like Breathing"

"also Jesus told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray, and not to turn coward." - Luke 18:1

Today's devotional reading is from Joyce Meyer's book, "the power of being thankful."

As we dig into this verse of the day, we are reminded that we are come to the Lord with confidence. He is always there, waiting to hear what we have to say, what we need, what concerns us, and just wants to have plain old Fellowship with us.

Prayer doesn't have to be some big eloquent statement, although it can be that too. All it is is just a conversation with the Lord, acknowledging him, thanking him for his goodness, and petitioning our request to him.

Some people say they don't know how to pray, but all it really is it's just a heart-to-heart conversation to someone who knows you better than anybody else.

We will talk about this a little bit more today in our quick devotional and end in prayer to send this on our way with encouragement to continue to pray throughout the day.
