There's something pretty incredible about seeing ancient history brought to life on the big-screen. Even though these movies set in the ancient world might not always be accurate, sometimes you just want to escape to ancient Rome or Homeric Greece, see ancient India or catch a glimpse of China's Warring States Period.

We love ancient history movies, so we made this list (in no particular order), mixing old and new, for the next time you're scrolling and can't choose what movie to watch. They might not all be award-winners on this list of epics, but some of our favorite movies of all time are on this list.
