This week we are practicing a Tadd Dameron style turnaround, made of parallel major seventh chords. Learn the pattern, practice improvising over the top of it, and start to inject it into songs and standards that you play. I love this turnaround and think that it has quite a modern sound for being about 80 years old! Tadd Dameron was definitely ahead of his time!
