About Aurangabad district, Bihar


Aurangabad is Located at the South-west of the state the district was named after Mughal emperor Aurangzeb during his reign. The river Son forms the west border of it and the Grand Trunk Road (NH-2) that connects Delhi at west and West Bengal in the east passes through the middle of this district.
