Welcome to the 2024 Bladed Vision Turkey Tour Video!
On this hunt we head to 3 different states chasing 4 mature Tom’s.
We start out in San Carlos, Arizona where I’ve hunted hard the past 3 years total. I had yet to secure an Arizona long beard and was determined to achieve this goal this year. We did some scouting the night before and roosted 3 mature birds. The next morning (opening day) we snuck in to about 100 yards from roost and the birds were talking! We set up and had our main camera die to the cold weather, right when the Tom worked into sight. I secured my first ever Arizona turkey within the first hour of the hunt. We pack up and move onto the next state, New Mexico!
New Mexico was a first for us, we had never hunted or even been on this side of the state before. I did a lot of research and picked some spots on OnX and we sent it. New Mexico sells two tags in one bundle OTC. So we set off on our main goal to secure my first New Mexico bird with hopes of two. Little did I know it would happen day after day and I’d secure my biggest Tom to date!!! Over 11inch beard! An absolute blessing!
With Arizona and New Mexico secured, we head back to our home state Utah! I get out extremely early to make a long hike in and end up sneaking right under a roosted Tom less than 100 yards away. To say the least he wanted to play the game!!!
An incredible season that may never be topped! The first actual turkey tour for Bladed Vision Outdoors is in the books!! 2024 will never be forgotten!
