My meals in the backcountry. Dehydrating your own meals & foods at home for use in hiking & camping

Not sure how to dehydrate food, no problem. This video covers my method of staying energized while I'm out in the outdoors photographing wildlife and nature. There are a lot of videos out there talking about the basics of food dehydration or dehydrating food for beginners. My goal with this video is to show you how I do things and what works for me, especially on extended trips to places like remote Alaska. While this channel is primarily focused on wildlife photography and the adventures that I have with the beautiful animals that I see, a big part of me getting out into nature and staying energized and safe revolves around food, so I thought I'd share. I hope you all enjoy and for you who just want to see wildlife videos, don't worry, I'll be back next time with some more wildlife!
