Here’s Why I Love my 1981 and 1982 SUZUKI RM 465 Motocross Bikes

We’re taking a look at both of my 1981 and 1982 Suzuki RM 465 motocross bikes in this video. These race model bikes weigh about 225 pounds dry, which is perfect for open racing bikes. On my 1982, I redid the tank and freshened up a few things like grips and installed Dunlop MX33 tires. This one has a blue frame with yellow forks, which I think adds a really nice touch.

On the 1981, it is more original and will appeal more to the purist crowd. A DG silencer and non oem sprocket is one of the only modifications it has. Someone informed me that the exhaust may not be stock and it may be a DG pipe. I haven’t even ridden either of these bikes and don’t plan to since both of these bikes are so clean. The RM 465 is supposed to be easier to start than its competitors and smoother motor. The 1981 would make a great race bike as well!

You don’t see these bikes out too often at motocross races so if you’re looking to stand out, these Suzukis are a great way to do that. Make sure you’re subscribed to the channel for more exciting content on motocross bikes and race cars!
