i don't have a good experimental setup yet, but you can see the painted areas of the wood are cooler than the wood around it or than the white piece of paper. i will construct a better demonstration later, but i was really excited to get these first results, and to be able to report that they work.

this was my second batch of the microspheres. this batch had errors while making it (i've never done anything like this before and need to get my process figured out) but i think i will be able to create superior subsequent batches of the material as i get my production area set up better.
