Fletcher Wheaton of cabokey.com and Toby Nunn of ‪@MarVidaSportfishing‬ talk fishing in Cabo.

The best time to fish in Cabo San Lucas depends on the type of fish you're targeting, but in general:

Spring (March - May): This is a good time for striped marlin and yellowtail. Tuna and dorado begin to appear towards the end of spring.

Summer (June - August): Excellent for blue marlin, black marlin, and sailfish. You’ll also find tuna and dorado (mahi-mahi) in abundance. These warmer months are peak times for sportfishing.

Fall (September - November): This is prime time for tuna, wahoo, dorado, and billfish (marlin and sailfish). The fall months, particularly October and November, are some of the best fishing months in Cabo due to tournaments like the Bisbee's Black & Blue Marlin Tournament.

Winter (December - February): Striped marlin remain active, and you can also catch sierra mackerel and snapper. While the action might slow down compared to the peak summer and fall seasons, there are still plenty of opportunities.

Overall, October and November are considered the peak fishing months in Cabo San Lucas.
