Is Koh Kood Thailand's Greatest Island? 🇹🇭

Welcome to the beautiful island of Koh Kood here in sunny Eastern Thailand! 🇹🇭

We have never been to any Thai islands before but I'm sure things can't get any better than Koh Kood.

Starting the day off with guesthouse tour, we stayed at 'Lungkhluay Homestay' run by an absolutely lovely young Thai couple who are so helpful and friendly. It cost us 600 THB a night and was perfect, miles better than staying in a resort on the island in my opinion!

We also rented a motorbike from the Homestay which cost us 200 THB per day which is again a great price here on Koh Kood.

First things first we drove to Khlong Hin beach which I'm certain is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, the water is so blue and crystal clear, the beach is stunning and the best part is - its pretty much high season in Thailand and yet there is nobody on the beach!!!

After this we drove to the beach at cham's House resort, this place was extremely fancy but the best thing about Koh Kood is you can visit any beach even fancy resorts without even staying there! Nothing is privatised, this beach was beautiful however because of the serious plastic litter problem we left very quickly.

Now we were starving so we found a little restaurant called 'chiang mai' we had some absolutely massive bowls of chicken khao soi which was so tasty - and very spicy!! 🌶️ Mai ped Mai aroi!

The best part about this place was the aunty who owned it, she was lovely and even gave us free bananas to take away I highly recommend this place if you want good authentic Northern thai food with a smile.

Then to wrap the day up we hit our other favourite beach here in Koh Kood Island - Ao Tapao Beach.

We watched the sunset go down here while enjoying the very best natural beauty that Thailand has to offer 🇹🇭
