October 16th was World Food Day and Brothers Furniture Ltd. is proud to be associated with Dhaka Ladies Club and helped arrange lunch for over 300 street children. It was a very joyous occasion with smiles and sharing as the main theme. Director of Brothers Furniture, Mr. Md. Sharifuzzaman Sharkar was also present at the event handing out food packets and smiles to the street children. Brothers Furniture Ltd. applauds Dhaka Ladies club for the work that they do.
Dhaka Ladies Club has had a long history of charitable activities with street children. The club has provided free education for street children since 1982 and now currently has 6 schools in Dhaka dedicated to provide free education for the underprivileged.
