In 1992, the Atlanta-based rock band Naked Truth stood on the precipice of superstardom, holding a $100 million, 10-album contract with Sony SOHO Records presented by Bernard Rhodes, the legendary and incendiary manager of The Clash and Sex Pistols. Today, founding guitarist Jimmie Westley Jr aka The Acid Jazz Guitarist, begins to tell the unprecedented story of why, after years of touring and recording, he walked away from it all, revealing the dark underbelly of the music industry's golden age.

The story is no longer just about "walking away from money." It's now a classic tragedy about a group of artists systematically stripped of their power, their relationships, and their artistic control by a predatory figure the industry itself rejected.

This is the story of why I left, the manipulation behind the scenes, and the moment I chose my sanity over a shot at superstardom. Featuring the original music video for our first single, "Read Between the Lines."
