Tears of an Angel || Glmv || Part 1

Storyline:
Amare (Love in Latin) is the daughter of Cupid (Desire in Latin). Once she became of age, she helped take over some of her father's missions. One day while on a mission to Earth, she falls madly in love with one of her victims. She lies to her father and tells him the mission will take a bit longer than expected. He gives her a week. Within that week, she spends as much time with him as she can. On the last day, she strikes them both with her arrow. Seeing them kiss tears her apart and she flies back to heaven. Upset, she locks herself in her room. After a few days, she's still torn apart and in tears. She begins to cry again, only this time Elijah is out on a date with Cassidy (the other victim). He has a faint memory of someone telling him that when an angel cries, it rains on Earth. So, he feels bad and "sends a message to the angel." However, the angel doesn't here him. Eventually, Amare feels so horrible she decides to sneak down to Earth. The heaven guards hear her singing and soon chase after here. Once she reaches Earth, she searches for Elijah. He doesn't remember her, so she kisses him in hopes that true love's kiss will bring back his memory of her. It works, although their reunion is soon interrupted by the guards. Amare is able to break free and flee. Elijah on the other hand, well his memory is erased. Eventually, Amare breaks into a home and cuts off her wings. She also breaks her hair clip containing some of her magic.
Questions:
Why didn't Elijah remember Amare?
Once an angel leaves Earth, the people they interact with forget them. This makes it less sketchy, rather than the humans believing they just "disappeared."
Can you see an angel in their angel form?
No human is able to see an angel unless they are in human form.
How come Elijah was able to see Amare in her angel form?
If you love someone, you can see them in every form.
Why did Amare cut off her wings?
She thought that if she cut off her wings, she wouldn't be considered an angel and she could live down here on Earth.
Why did Amare throw her pendant?
She threw her pendant in hopes that it would break and her magic would vanish. If her magic vanished, she thought she'd be considered a human because she wasn't a magical diety.
