In a tense Harris County courtroom, a Texas judge delivered a blistering rebuke to Mr. Pool, a high school student facing a growing list of serious criminal charges. Already out on bond for evading arrest and criminal mischief, the defendant now stands accused of aggravated assault of a family member and making terroristic threats involving a firearm. According to court records, the complainant—his ex-girlfriend—reported that he threatened to come to her home and shoot her, later sending photos of a gun in his lap to reinforce the threat.

Witnesses corroborated a separate incident in which the defendant allegedly pulled a pistol from his ankle and pointed it at the complainant during a confrontation outside a party.
