Hello, hello and welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is Julie and in this sewing tutorial, I am going to show you how I upcycled a duvet into a vintage skirt. This 1950 style skirt is DIY boxed pleated with pockets. you can also call this a walking skirt.

practical info:
This duvet was 190 cm on 150 cm or 75 inches on 59 inches. Once I ripped it open I got a nice piece of fabric from almost 4 meters or 13 feet.

For a DIY boxed pleated skirt, you need around 3 times your waist measurement.
