Giacomo Carletti was born in Perugia and began studying the guitar at the age of thirteen.He originally dedicated himself to the electric guitar, oriented to rock, pop and ethnic music.In 2013 he met Edoardo Catemario, famous guitarist and composer, who encouraged him to seriously dedicate himself to the classical guitar. Since then Giacomo regularly attended his courses and masterclasses in various Academies quickly becoming one of his best students.He also attended to several masterclasses with Michael Lewin (professor at the Royal Academy of London) and Paulino Garcia (a Spanish specialist of ancient music and vihuela).Giacomo plays in a wide variety of genres and styles alternating performances in rock and pop bands to classical guitar solo and chamber concerts.Beside his activity as a performer Giacomo is an appreciated teacher.Giacomo doesn't limit himself only to music, he has always been a good sportsman and still dedicates himself to high mountain trekking and archery.This recording has been made using a guitar by Walter Franchi, regenerated Telesforo Julve on a model by Santos Hernandez, year 2015
