Under the hood of the ZL1 is a supercharged 6.2L V8 pumping out 720HP & mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual gearbox. Under the engine hatch of the first ever mid-engine Corvette is a 6.2L V8 producing 495HP & mated to a Treme 8-speed DCT.
