Much more fun than expected!

The little Maverick Atom 1/18 truck is a bit slow stock standard on 2s.
It turns out the stock motor can handle 3s power without burning up even off-road😃

Shim sets come in many different sizes, always make sure to match the shim outer diameter to the bearing outer diameter.
Example -
10x12mm shim is for a 12mm outer diameter bearing with a maximum shaft/input shaft diameter/thickness of 10mm.

All of my DIY carbon, aluminium or polycarbonate parts are cut with a jigsaw and drilled with a hand drill.

Most of my materials like Carbon Fibre, Aluminium, polycarbonate and hardware like screws, bolts and nuts are purchased from Ebay Australia but most of what I use is easily found just by Google searching the material or hardware you require.
