In our Easy Recipe Series we cooked Red Sauce Pasta. It is a delicious meal that can be classified as Tomato Sauce Pasta. It can be cooked for Lunch or Dinner. It is kids friendly and one of the best choices for school lunch!

INGREDIENTS & METHOD:

1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Cups Farfalle Pasta
3 Garlic Cloves
1 Finely Choped Onion
1 Tbsp Basil Leafs, plus more to top
5 Cubes Of Salted Butter (secret Ingredient)
1 Tsp Salt
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Red Chilli Flakes
1 Cup Tomato Puree
1 Tbsp White Pepper
1 Tbsp Dried Oregano
2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, plus more to top

BOILING PASTA:

Add Water, Olive Oil and Salt in a pan and boil it on high heat. Add Farfalle pasta in boiling water and cook on medium heat for 20 mins.

MAKING SAUCE:

Set the cooking pan on medium-high heat. Add some Olive Oil, Garlic, Diced Onions, Salt.
Cook them for 5 mins until they start turning translucent.
Add Red Chili Flakes, Tomato Puree and stir all together.
When it starts to simmer adjust the heat between medium and medium-low and cook the stir.
Add Butter and as soon as butter melts add White Pepper, Dried Oregano and Parmesan Cheese.
Cook for 30 mins.
Stir and turn off the heat.
Add Basil Leafs at the end and mix it well.

MIX THEM TOGETHER:

Strain the Farfalle Pasta and add in a pan.
Add the sauce in the same pan. Grab a serving spoon and mix them well.
When perfectly mixed spoon that up in a pasta bowl and add Parmesan Cheese and Basil Leafs to give it more flavor.
