Playing tracks you don't like?

Would you play music that you don't like (during a gig) just because you know the crowd will love it? Some of you will, some of you won't. The fact is that most of you will end up in a situation like this sooner or later and it's up to you to decide what you are going to do.

For me personally it's very simple: I don't play tracks that I don't like. I decided to become a DJ because I loved to play music and that love for music will not let me represent something I don't like.

This is not an ego thing. The crowd is my first priority and it's my job to keep them happy, but as a DJ you should also have your own style and part of that style is your taste in music.
I also feel that there is no reason why I should play a track that I don't like when there is so much music to choose from. Even if I won't play the (few) tracks I don't like, I'll be able to find enough other songs that will get the same reaction from the crowd.
