HOW TO AUTO POPULATE A FORM FIELD IN THE HEADER OF A WORD DOCUMENT USING STYLEREF // Learn how to repeat a form field in the header or footer of a Word document. This video shows a technique you can apply to get around MS Word not being able to reference a bookmarked form field in the header or footer of a protected document. If you apply a character style to the form field, you can insert a StyleRef in the header or footer and it acts as an auto-populating form field. This allows you to repeat a form field, such as the user's name, in the header or footer.
