To the wishful-filling vine born to bring joy to the family of shrIviShNuchitta;
To the one who has perceived through yoga Lord rangarAja who is like the harichandana tree;
To the very embodiment of kShamA=the earth;
To the one who is also like the other consort, kamalA=Goddess Lakshmi due to her compassion;
To Devi godA I, who does not have any other resort, I offer a prayer seeking refuge.

O Goddess, who rejoises in the presence of your husband,
the honeybees which are struck by wild intoxication due to the sweet fragrance
emanating from the head decorated by the garlands already relished by you,
abandon the vaijayantI garland which even goes through the interiors of Lord Vishnu's arms,
and flock towards it, creating a formation like the feathers of a peacock.

The one who shines blue like the indranIla jewel;
The one who holds the beautiful kalhAra flower in her hands;
The one who is slightly curved under the weight of her breasts;
The one who is an ocean of concentrated maternal compassion;
The one who has attracted the lord with the garlands that have already been worn in her thick locks of hair;
The daughter of viShNuchitta, may Devi godA, shine playfully in our hearts.

Andal Vaazhi Tirunaamam (Mangalam) Lyrics:
