In this short video, Matt shows you an essential maintenance procedure for the Brother MFC-J6530DW. We take a look at how to do cleaning cycles, and move on to a test page too.

This is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your printer, from missing colours to striped prints, we recommend doing these steps first. Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink within your installed LC3217 or LC3219 ink cartridges, so be sure to use this function of your Brother MFC-J6530DW sparingly.

Although we have used a Brother MFC-J6530DW in this video, the process remains identical for the other printers in the series, like the MFC‑J3530DW, MFC‑J3930DW, MFC‑J6930DW and MFC‑J6935DW too.
