New Voyagers! (NBC, 1982-83) Brass Time Machine Replica Construction! Video 2!

Here is a video that shows the start of work on a new Voyagers! Brass Omni Construction I am doing to replace the Omni I gave to Voyagers! star Meeno Peluce aka Jeffrey Jones! The last video showed the TinkerCad model and some electronics I received. This "brass" is actually Shapeways bronze, a much better color than the very yellow Shapeways brass, and closer to the original (same as Meeno's Omni). The bottom indentation on the body was changed, the body thickness was reduced slightly and the lid portions that connect to the body were updated for more screen accuracy. New custom-made 0.6mm thick dials were laser engraved and have been received from Etsy's (ProjectCustom) Voyagers! Omni design. I used 0.064" (1.6mm) brass plate for the back instead of 3d printing it, and also used a center punch (which is used for setting a pilot hole for drilling) for the first time, and it showed up on the underside of the dome, the same as on the original Omnis. The punch indented the dome a bit in places, so I had to sand with 400 grit down to fine hobby-grade sandpaper, and polish to get it smooth again.
