Camino de Santiago Documentary | VERY STEEP CLIMB towards Laguna de Castilla from Villafranca| Ep 33

Join us on our travels on the Camino de Santiago! About this episode:

As we leave our amazing B&B in Villafranca del Bierzo and hit the road (quite literally on this first part of the trail. About 26km today and there is still a bit of limping in the group on todays walk 🥴. The temperature has definitely change in this section of the walk as we head up into the mountains.

After multiple coffee/coca cola stops during this walk, we then share our thoughts about our walk so far to date. We then start a steep ascent (c 1000m) to our home for the night Laguna de Castilla (Hostel la Escuela). We enjoyed an amazing pilgrim meal and a cheeky liquor with the owner and then to bed ready for the following days walk.
