Without a care
The King has strode
Into the town
To sing His ode

2.
The veiled beauty
That none have seen
Has brought a Word
Of love that’s keen

3.
Perfumed, swaying
Laying a snare
They can but swoon
Breathing His air

4.
Love-sick, maddened
Gripped by the chance
Perchance He might
Allow a glance

5.
Each one thinks that
He is for him
These fools see not
Beyond their whim

6.
Far too precious
Unique and free
To be owned by
Any is He

7.
Allah, He was
And lo with Him
Nothing there was
Ever with Him

8.
Perfect, Complete
Without a need
Beyond compare
The True, indeed

9.
He is ever
As He was then
So how did they
Come to be then

10.
Hark know that He
Loved to be known
And His splendid
Pure Light be shown

11.
In His Knowledge
All things reside
By His Power
Appear outside

12.
That Formless One
Perfectly made
A form in which
All Names were laid

13.
His Breath, Spirit
That life giver
Suddenly made
The souls quiver

14.
And when He asked:
Am I not yours?
In haste they sang
Indeed, we’re Yours

15.
Yet He Willed that
They knew Him more
Being apart
Would make them soar

16.
And so, upon
The earth they fell
To live and learn
And worship well

17.
Bodies of clay
And water too
They felt at home
Forgetful grew

18.
But some they yearned
Of word from home
Of lush meadows
They once did roam

19.
That Caring King
Said hear My Word
It rings inside
All of your world

20.
The sound of ‘Be’
Echoes throughout
This hymn of life
Beats without doubt

And for Ahmad ﷺ
Perfect of all
A gift I have
For him in-thrall

My living Words
Captured in cage
By his language
For every age

23.
The King’s treasure
Within their palm
The source of life
That saves from harm

24.
Forget yourself
Servant of Mine
Partake in this
Secret-Divine

25.
Upon your tongue
Repeat My Words
Ascend the heights
Soar free like birds

26.
When I say I
Become as one
Dance in delight
By Me you’re spun

27.
The feast is laid
Pull up a seat
The taste of this
Nothing can beat

28.
Address them all
Divulge My plan
Dress in My robe
Presumptuous man

29.
Past and present
Future and more
The sea has drowned
All at the shore

30.
Such wonder I
So Great and Proud
Allow the slaves
My Speech aloud

What miracle
Unmatched, unique
The King has strode
Amongst the weak
