🇸🇮 to 🇮🇹 Spring driving from Bovec to Lago del Predil

Bovec is a beautiful town in Slovenia that lives a calm life in early spring. Locals gather in cafes, the playground is full of children, and local adventure agencies enjoy the quiet months before the summer season kicks in in full strenght.

It was at this time that we wandered here via the Vršič pass, which was surprisingly opened in mid-March in 2023. To avoid returning to Slovenia the same way, we chose a beautiful route to the Italian border, over lovely villages Log pod Mangartom and Strmec na Predelu to Lake Predil in Italy.
