Thana's Insanity completely re-imagines and redefines the First Encounter into something which is almost unrecognizably new. The Mappack/Modpack is an insane delve into madness where you will meet all kinds of absolute bonkers battles and challenges which Seem almost impossible to even win. With a mission to defeat this Thana's mind, you are put through a trial of literal suffering and fear, perfectly defined by all the levels and the way it spirals. The story and plot of this series is compelling and I think in my opinion one of the bester ones out there.

The aesthetics for this mod is amazing and just...redefines the game entirely as a whole - it stretches SED 3+ to its maximum potentials and literally abuses every aspect provided by the game. Much of this is very interactable and a lot of these aesthetics play in perfectly with the mod too. Though many of the levels are based on the TFE maps, the entire way the levels play out has completely changed, for example, entire parts of each levels are changed and the way of progressing through each will be completely new and unique to each level.

Lots of new monsters and new game mechanics! Thana's insanity introduces a VAST ammount of new monsters and enemies for you to face. No single encounter is the same as it was in the classic TFE games. The roster has completely changed. and Newer more WAY viler things were added.

Gameplaywise, Thana's Insanity is by no doubt the hardest SP mappack I have ever attempted to play seriously. I'd say to the point of 'instagib on your first mistake' hard. I'd also say that it's unforgiving regardless of your difficulty hard. Could you guess this game will make you suffer and still instagib you later on even if you play on tourist mode?? I guess that's the gist of it considering the campaign's name. Imo, the game is so unforgiving that newbies that it's probably impossible for them to enjoy this.

This is why I think the mappack falls short of a nearly perfect rating. It's just impossibly difficulty :P (gets way worse for the sequel maps)

Tip to newbies and normal difficulty players: Play in multiplayer for respawns. Also activate infinite ammo if you think that you keep running out of ammo too quickly.
