Tell Me Your Favourite Character and I Tell You WHO YOU ARE! Otome Psychology

Ever wondered what your favourite game, your favourite love interest says about you?
Which kind of personality likes to play otome games in the first place? And does it mean anything, if you like tsunderes, but no yanderes, or are a Yang maniac like me?
While there is research about game preferences and personality, as well as which people you would like in real life, I couldn't find detailed research about with which characters we tend to build parasocial relationships with (   • In Love with a Character who Doesn't ...  ). So like personality psychology in general, the implications are very much speculative and only correlative, meaning tendencies based on similarities, but by far no strict rules or determined consequences!
