1962 International Travelall Cummins Swap Build Preview

Meet the 1962 International Travelall that is destined for greatness! It's already here at our shop in Randolph WI and work is well underway, but we thought this build needed a more formal introduction to our followers. This is a rare model of an early SUV equipped with a 392ci engine, 4 wheel drive and a 3 speed manual transmission. It ran well, drove okay with some shift linkage issues, stopped usually and the body was in especially in good condition(International trucks have a reputation for rotting out, BAD) when we got our hands on it.

This International is soon to receive a major upgrade with a 6BT 12 valve Cummins from Big Bear Engine Co! Not only will it be equipped with a whole lot more power, it's also getting a complete makeover from the frame up with a design honoring it's International Harvester heritage while being fitted for modern performance and improved creature comforts for it's passengers.
