Dead Malls Season 5 Episode 24 - Golf Mill Shopping Center

Have you ever wanted the 1980s and the early 2000s in the same mall? Two completely opposite aesthetics? Well at Golf Mill Shopping Center, you can. All thanks to an amazing untouched 1960s style Sears which divides the mall down the middle. The division between the two wings provides for a weird experience as walking through the 2006 section I felt like I was in a normal dead mall. But going into the 1980s portion I was blasted into another era. An era where shopping lives in only in the memories of faded Muzak.. So join me today, as we head in, take a tour, tell the story, and see how Golf Mill is doing as of August of 2023.
