Dutch Profiles: Metahaven

Daniel van der Velden and Vinca Kruk together form Metahaven, a strategic design agency that has come to define a new methodology in graphic design. Design as a means of knowledge production and a tool to analyse existing power structures, both commercial and political.

Many of Metahaven's projects are self-initiated, or collaborations with carefully selected partners, like recently WikiLeaks.

In 2010 Metahaven published the book Uncorporated Identity that gives a clear insight in their research based design practice...

Here Daniel and Vinca visit the famous printer Lezard in the east of France for a project called Geo Game. Geo Game will be an large-scale installation playing with the idea of geopolitics as a giant board game.
