CORONA (LLN) - On Tuesday afternoon, April 12, 2022, the City of Corona Fire Department responded to a report of a Waste Management trash truck fire in the north end of the city. The fire was reported around 3:15pm in the 1300 block of Parsley Lane. The arriving engine company reported smoke coming from the trash container section of the truck and immediately began a fire attack. Firefighters battled the confined fire for over an hour before deeming it safe enough to dump the contents onto Parsley Lane. The cause of the fire is unknown and crews expect to remain on scene for another 2 hours.
