Every year more than 5,000 misfits from all over the world arrive in France to join the Foreign Legion. They are seeking redemption and a new identity — the Legion promises all. For more than 150 years the Legion has been shrouded in mythology. The Legion appeals to something deep and mysterious in the psyche of men.
