For the Evanescence cover story of Revolver's new Spring Issue, we knew we had to do something special. So, we enlisted Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante to do the honors interviewing Evanescence bandleader Amy Lee. LaPlante has been a fan of Lee since she was 12 years old, and she had tons of questions for her longtime hero. Their free-flowing conversation delved into Evanescence's 'The Bitter Truth' — the band's first album of original material in a decade — as well as the power of vulnerability, the beauty in imperfection and the technicalities of both singing and lyric-writing.
