Hele Bay is a small village and beach just to the east of the town of Ilfracombe in North Devon, England. It is on the South West Coast Path. The small village of Hele is inland from the beach. Hele was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 when the tenant-in-chief was Bishop Geoffrey of Coutances. There is a Grade II Listed corn mill at Hele Bay that dates back to around 1525.

Combe Martin is a village, civil parish and former manor on the North Devon coast about 4 miles (6.4km) east of Ilfracombe. It is a small seaside resort with a sheltered cove on the north-west edge of the Exmoor National Park. Due to the narrowness of the valley, the village consists principally of one single long street which runs 2 miles (3.2km) between the valley head and the sea. An electoral ward with the village name exists. The ward population at the 2011 census was 3,941.

The seaside town of Ilfracombe is home to the award winning Ilfracombe Aquarium and the unique Tunnels Beaches, holders of a blue flag and seaside award. Victorian shops and houses nestle against the rugged coastline where there are many secluded coves and rock pools to discover and explore.

Watermouth is a sheltered bay and hamlet between Hele Bay and Combe Martin on the North Devon coast of England. The settlement's castle, named as Watermouth Castle, is currently used being as a theme park. Watermouth harbour is shielded by the natural breakwater of Sexton's Burrows.
