Service Dog Training - Shopping cart, Obstacles and Distractions

This video goes over some exercises for service dog public access that you can play in your home and yard. I hope this video will inspire service dog teams to work on their dogs skills while sheltering in place in their homes. These exercises are specifically for teaching the dog to walk near the handler even when there are obstacles, a shopping cart ahead and distractions. Even if there wasn’t a coronavirus outbreak I still believe it’s a great idea with ANY dog to proof the behaviors you are going to ask your dog to perform in public in your home.
