Ruaka Town is one of the fast rising towns in Kenya, thanks to its proximity to United Nations Offices that are situated at Gigiri, in Nairobi which is 3Km away.
Due to its affordable housing, availability of shopping malls like Two Rivers Mall which is one of the biggest malls in Africa and other social factors and affordable food products has enabled it to attract many Expatriates who mainly work at the UN offices and the nearby diplomatic Missions and other foreigners mainly Nigerians who are known to be big spenders making businesses in this town to thrive.
