YOU & I ♡ | shirayuki & obi [snow white with the red hair]

OBIYUKI. MY BABIES. ONE OF MY TOP OTPS.

Even though they aren't canon. But OH MY GOD THEY SHOULD BE!!! The chemistry they have is so much more natural and they have a much stronger bond (in my opinion) then the actual canon ship in this anime. I feel like Obi is so much more committed to Shirayuki than Zen. Just in the way he protects her and just wants her to be happy. Obi is absolutely and completely in love with Shirayuki. It kills me to watch him pine for her and she has no idea how deep his feelings for her go and she's never gonna return them (at least in the anime).

So Snow White with the Red Hair has a very special place in my heart and is one of my absolute favorite anime. I knew early on that Obiyuki was gonna be THE ship (even though I do also like Zenyuki.....I pretty much ship all the main characters with each other in some way because they are all sexy and have amazing chemistry). But Shirayuki and Obi. There's just something so appealing about them. The way Obi is so protective of her. The way she absolutely trusts him, probably even more than Zen tbh. How they tease each other and are so comfortable being around each other. They spend so much time together and most of it is just the two of them. Obi would never try to come between her and Zen because he loves and respects both of them too much. So he just fawns over her from a distance. He's such a good boy.

I was so indecisive over this video. There's 2 versions of this song and I debated and went back and forth between the two. But in the end, I settled on the original version and not the stripped version (even if it is really beautiful). This was just more upbeat and easier to edit. And the voiceovers. They felt off to me at first. I was gonna take them out, but I put too much effort and became so comfortable with them there so I left them in. SWWTRH actually has a really good English dub (*gasp*), but I watched both Japanese and English. As I do with most series that I watch. It's just easier for me to edit with English audio, even if I really do love Japanese too. I worked so hard on this video for almost 2 months. I'm quite proud of it. And hope to make more Obiyuki videos in the future because I just love them so much.
