Question 19, is, Find the value of a. cube, plus, b. cube. if x. y. is equal to 10, and, x. plus, y. is equal to 7.
Let see its solution.
So, we have to find a. cube, plus, b. cube. And,
We write, x. plus, y. equal to 7, from given information in order to apply formula.
Taking its cube.
We have taken cube of above value. and the formula that we are going to apply is given below. which is, a. plus, b. whole cube. is equal to, a. cube, plus, b. cube, plus, 3 a. b. into, a. plus, b. Next, we will apply this formula on x. plus, y. whole cube.
We have to write a. cube. in our case a. is x. so x. cube is written.
Plus, comes from formula given below. b. cube will be y. cube.
Plus 3, comes from formula.
a. b. is x. y. and,
a. plus, b. is x. plus, y. and,
Equal comes as it is. Here, we have opened, 7 cube. by multiplying 7, three times, becomes 343.
x. cube, plus, y. cube, comes as it is.
Also, plus 3, comes as it is.
x. y. is 10, given in question, above. so we replaced it.
Similarly, x. plus, y. is 7, given in question, above. so we replaced it.
Equal, 343, comes as it is.
x. cube, plus, y. cube, plus, comes as it is. next, we will multiply 3, 10 and 7.
When, 3 is multiplied with 10, becomes 30, again this 30 is multiplied with 7, becomes 210.
Equal, 343, comes as it is
x. cube, plus, y. cube. equal to 343, is written as it is. next we will move plus, 210, to other side of equal.
Plus 210 is moved to other side of equal, it becomes minus, 210.
x. cube, plus, y. cube, comes as it is. 133 is obtained by subtracting 210 from 343.
