Blue Devils 2024 Vertical Stroke

recorded upon request from TwistedLegKid3's comment. had a lot of fun playing this one. its the first front exercise in a dci packet i've seen this year that has a section dedicated to moeller stroke! the first section can be really challenging to get good playing zones and even articulation across notes. especially in the last open Bb chord. in this vid i play at 95bpm which is the faster tempo required for the video audition. if anyone from the blue devils reads this i would love feedback on the pedagogy and technique yall explore for this exercise as there is no written section on the taxonomy by which we evaluate this one. i focused on the usual: notes, tempo, dynamics, but it would be interesting to hear from someone who comes from these groups to explain the further details explored. also thanks to jake russell for catching the mistakes in the first take! hope you enjoy!
