Due to the nature of crafting there is a vast array of tools that you may find make your craft of choice flow better but what I list out here is a good base set of tools that can help you achieve a fair amount of crafty endeavors (particularly if you are interested in making trash art like what I show on this channel).
These are the tools that I like to keep within arms reach of my main work table if that tells you how valuable I find them (a desk mounted peg board is a life saver for keeping things close by.) There are other items for more specific crafts (like a roller cutter for fabric and paper, or wire strippers for electronics) but these are a good base set!

Brand names generally don't matter too much and lots of these items can be found thrifted or relatively cheap new (though try to get non rusty versions).
