This was taken from my 7 - 18 - 21 YouTube/Facebook Live Stream. One of my favorite albums Elton John ever recorded was a hitless gem from late 1970 called TUMBLEWEED CONNECTION. It has a country/gospel/blues tinge throughout and some wonderfully crafted songs with great piano work and string arrangements. One of my three favorite cuts from the album is this downhome ballad with an amazingly vivid mosaic of words from Bernie Taupin. I honestly don't think there is a song from Elton's catalogue that I love playing more than this one. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed playing it!
